    Evaluate the following without a calculator: make sure your answers make sense e.g. 4 ÷ 0.2 is really asking how many times 0.2 will “fit into” 4 – since 0.2 is only tiny, it will fit in more times than 2 does!

  1. \displaystyle{\frac{27}{0.9}}
  2. \displaystyle{\frac{35}{0.7}}
  3. \displaystyle{\frac{6}{0.2}}
  4. \displaystyle{\frac{24}{0.04}}
  5. \displaystyle{\frac{480}{0.008}}
  6. \displaystyle{\frac{40}{0.005}}
  7. Find the answer to these decimal divisions, without a calculator:

  8. \displaystyle{\frac{0.2}{0.1}}
  9. \displaystyle{\frac{0.6}{0.02}}
  10. \displaystyle{\frac{0.2}{0.001}}
  11. \displaystyle{\frac{0.002}{0.0001}}
  12. \displaystyle{\frac{0.04}{0.00002}}
  13. \displaystyle{\frac{0.009}{0.03}}
